Introducing the incredible, unique, explosive and extraordinary groundbreaking talent that is Nathan “Flutebox” Lee and his band The Clinic which features some of the UK’s hottest artists, Biscuit (Speakers Corner Quartet) alto flute, Renell Shaw (Rudimental) bass guitar, & Edem Hayibor drums, MC MysDiggi(Mystro) and The Last Skeptik. Fresh from a performance at Innocent Unplugged, and a sold out showcase of new material on the legendary Eel Pie Island Nathan & The Clinic are gigging and back in the studio currently tweaking some tracks for release later this year, so watch this space for the latest Flutebox beats!!!! As well as working on new material with his own band The Clinic, Nathan has been in the studio recording with Asian Dub Foundation for their new album The Signal and the Noise. They have been carving up festivals throughout Europe Japan and Brazil to name a few. They are also performing the soundtrack to George Lucas’ iconic film THX1138.

Nathan was also commissioned to be an Originals Pioneer.

He also made his USA debut at A3C HIP HOP Festival in Atlanta. Whilst performing alongside some of the genres legends, Wu-Tang Clan’s Raekwon and Gza, Big Boi, Yellawolf to name just a few. He played on the SupaHot Beats stage for Will Power.

With his trademark live Fluteboxing (beat boxing through the flute while playing it at the same time), Nathan ‘Flutebox’ Lee’s explosive blend unites Hip Hop, Dubstep and Beatbox beats with Jazz, Funk and Eastern melodies. This former pirate radio Jungle MC is a true 21st Century musical pioneer, he is taking live acoustic performance to the next level and urban music into un-charted waters with his hi-octane, hyper-percussive show. Nathan ‘Flutebox’ Lee has collaborated live and in the studio with legendary artists including: The Prodigy, Asian Dub Foun-dation, Plan B, The Roots, Nitin Sawhney, Beardyman, GURU (R.I.P.) Sander Kleinenberg, Foreign Beggars and Ed Rush & Optical to name but a few.

Nathan has become a massive YouTube hit with millions of views worldwide. The catalyst for this came from a collaborative performance with Beardyman at the London Google ofces. The video has now reached almost 10million views.

Nathan is now established as a festival favourite, appearing at Bestival, Womad, and Glastonbury, as well as touring the world.

On the home front, Nathan was an Emerging Artist In Residence at London’s prestigious Southbank Centre and played a sell-out show to an eager audience at the Purcell Room, hosted by the ir-
repressible legend Howard Marks. The unique live experience of Nathan ‘Flutebox’ Lee is equally at home in a raw and sweaty club as it is on a heavyweight stadium stage. This live show is complemented with an astounding array of talented musicians known as the Clinic.
