On Monday 10th April MC Harry Shotta wanted to rave out like he has never done before, and what better way to meet those goals but to hold a free rave event, open to the public, but this event may have been a little too close to the public, as the MC took his equipment, disco balls and all, and set off underground, the LONDON Underground!

MC Shotta took to London’s Bakerloo line train and travelled from Embankment to Paddington, partying on public transport with confused and mesmerised travellers, however it was not too long before passengers joined in on the action.

Arriving at the final stop of Paddington, British Transport Police (BTP) officers shut down the party. A

passenger told the Evening Standard:

“It was only on it for two or three stops but everyone seemed to be enjoying it.“

The unusual event was reportedly organised by internet pranksters Trollstation.
The event, which was halted at around 10.40pm, divided opinion online, with Enter Shikari front man, Rou Reynolds tweeting: “I think there should be a rave carriage on each tube train tbh. HarryShotta you legend.”

The Paddington British Transport Police Twitter account revealed they attended the event after reports of raucous activity, but said the ravers were “light-hearted” and “co-operative” when the rave was shut down.

“Whilst officers relish any opportunity to experience underground drum and bass, we’d kindly ask DJs to refrain from using the Tube as a pop-up club.
