DJ Swordfish

DJ Swordfish is a London-based selector playing music to dance to from around the globe. He hosts an eclectic show on Brixton Radio exploring all genres and flavours, from Ghanaian drill to 80s yacht rock and Japanese folk. Swordfish is also resident at north London warehouse party Janky Batch. Think UK club culture meets tropical disco – with plenty of energy, soul, citrus, psychedelia, bass, brass, and bounce.

Swordy was born in Bristol but earned his stripes in Manchester clubs like the legendary Sankeys and Ritz, playing house, disco and bass music as one half of the duo Cassio Co. He also plays jazz trumpet, most recently featuring on the Las Frutas EP by Ecuadorian producer Joaquín Cornejo. One day he has vowed to bring his trumpet and DJing together…
